Resilience Equity is a real estate private equity investment group that combines an entrepreneurial approach with institutional infrastructure to its investments. The executive team has over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, with more than 8,000 multifamily units owned and operated over that time.
Our focus is finding value add apartment complexes that are poorly managed and turning those into vibrant communities that provide safe, affordable housing for the residents. We implement both tactical and strategic models to acquire underperforming multifamily real estate assets in US growth markets that we can transform through renovation and repositioning, providing great returns for our investors.

Our Team
Mike Morawski
Mike Morawski is a 30+ year real estate investment veteran. He has controlled over $285,000,000 in real estate transactions along with being an entrepreneur, author, real estate trainer, public speaker, and personal coach with strong resilience. His deep desire to help others live an extraordinary life is evident in his day to day work coaching hundreds of real estate investors to fulfill their dreams.
Mike began as a general contractor in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, entered the real estate industry as a sales agent building a team of agents and support staff that produced over $20 mm per year in sales production. In 2005, he started a private equity firm, raising $18 mm in private equity and acquired $60 mm in multi-family apartments including 4,000 units in five different US markets. As part of the company’s growth, Mike built and developed a property management division that managed 7,500 units.

Roschelle McCoy
Roschelle McCoy has a passion for helping everyday people understand the power of real estate investing so they can live a financially free life by design. She’s been investing in real estate since 2017 and currently controls over $6M in real estate assets in Florida and Illinois. Initially focused on single family homes and small multifamily, appreciation and NOI on these properties have doubled in three short years due to consistent, intentional execution of her business strategy. Roschelle is now focused on multifamily investing; creating safe, affordable workforce housing in emerging markets across the US that provide excellent returns for passive investors while giving back to local communities and charitable organizations.
In her spare time she’s a mother of three very energetic boys, wife and dedicated advocate for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the St Jude Runs organization; helping fundraise over $135K since 2011.

Kim Henry
Kim Henry spent twenty-six years in Corporate America prior to becoming a commercial real estate advisor in 2016. Her career started in banking, where she was involved in mergers & acquisitions. Later in her career she branched into labor relations, where she was part of her company’s labor negotiating team. Her skills range from financial analysis--to project management--to labor relations. In addition to her current commercial real estate career, she is very active in her church, with her family & dog, and in volunteering/supporting community events. Kim graduated from Regis University with a master’s degree in Finance and from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science, double major in Accounting/General Management.
For many years Kim dreamed of being a commercial real estate investor and could never find the time or the right team. In August 2022, she met the right team at a commercial real estate investors’ event and is now seeing her dreams of being an investor come true.
Kate Gress
Kate Gress is a dynamic professional with over 25 years of experience as a successful business owner, chiropractor, and real estate investor. As the visionary behind multiple thriving chiropractic practices, Kate has led teams of doctors to deliver top-notch care, embodying a commitment to enhancing the well-being of others.
With a keen eye for opportunity and a heart for service, Kate ventured into real estate investing 22 years ago, initially focusing on commercial property before expanding into residential single-family homes and small multifamily units. Her focus now is on commercial multifamily apartments complexes. She is also a passive investor in the real estate sector. This diversification reflects her strategic approach to wealth creation and her dedication to empowering others to achieve financial freedom through passive investing.
When not nurturing her businesses, Kate loves spending time with her husband and their five children. She is a traveler, drawn to sun-kissed destinations in the winter, and in the summer is drawn to the water, spending her days at her lake home in beautiful Wisconsin. Kate’s also an avid reader and fitness enthusiast.
Kate is a founding member and serves on the board of the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, since 2012. She also sits on the executive board for the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce and served as the Chamber President in 2023.
